Cayla Zahoran
New York City Food Photographer, Cayla Zahoran.
Cayla is a Brooklyn- and Nashville-based commercial food photographer known for her bold, evocative images that make you crave the screen. From dishes and drinks to packaging and plated moments, she crafts flavorful visuals that connect chefs, brands, and editorial teams with hungry audiences.
Her career began as a photo editor and photographer at Edible Allegheny and WHIRL Magazine in Pittsburgh. This is where she developed a deep love for capturing local food culture. Additionally, that appetite for storytelling led her to New York City, where she expanded her portfolio working with national food and drink brands, chefs, and cookbook publishers.
Whether she’s styling a plate, shooting moody cocktail scenes, or lighting a perfect hero product, Cayla brings a chef’s eye, a creative director’s instinct, and a deep appreciation for flavor and craft. Her creativity in the photography world is driven by her love of cooking, traveling, and the art of playing with her food.
In recent news..
Cayla recently expanded her creative pursuits in the food world by co-founding TBSP Press, an independent publishing house dedicated to bringing authentic, often untold, culinary stories to life through different mediums. She also runs TBSP Studio, a kitchen-focused new york city food photography and event space located in the heart of Greenpoint, Brooklyn.
Available for food and beverage photography in New York City, Nashville, and nationwide. Let’s create something mouthwatering.
